Dear Grandma & Grandpa Z,
We're trying to have a good time here at the beach. We're doing everything we're used to doing.
There's been lots of playing in the sand,

playing with cousins,
playing in the water,
digging the hole,
jumping in the hole,
eating on the patio,
playing games,
and general hanging out.
But we can't shake the feeling that something is missing. Something really important. Something that pulls us all together and organizes us and makes it fun and exciting and special. It's just not the same without you guys. So Grandma, GET BETTER SOON!!! Follow the doctors instructions and stay warm and rested and close to your room. Hopefully they'll let you out soon and the real beach week can begin.

Beach week looks and sounds wonderful. I heard about your mom and that is really really sad they cannot be there.
I am missing the beach right now just looking at your pictures...Looks like so much fun...I don't know what happened to your mom but I hope she is o.k.! It's nice that you all got to get together and spend some time with eachother!! What a fabulous beach house!
I am soooo jealous of your week at the beach when I see these pictures! We do the "beach week" every other year. This year is the off year. Have a great time. Hope nobody gets too sunburned!
