How would you answer if your kid asked you:


Why is it colder at the top of a mountain if it's closer to the sun?

What else can you say but "Let's google search it." A quick search of Brenden's question leads to question 186 of the science section of How Stuff Works . com where you can see the answer is air pressure.

With regards to Oliver's question, a search for "Is black a color?" leads to an interesting debate on colormatters . com which debates whether black and white are colors or not, and a possible conclusion that when you close your eyes, you are not seeing any light, which is by definition, black. How do you think they'd like those answers?
