Dairy Queen workers no more
After our visit to the Springville Dairy Queen last weekend, and the scare that, based on their hair styles, our boys were just a Used t-shirt away from employment with the misfits there, we decided it was high time for a clean up. We headed to super cuts and took some before & after shots.

I don't know. Should I feel bad to find out that I am the last person on this planet who knew you had a blog? I thought we were tighter than this. But perhaps I shouldn't be so sure and continue trying to impress you (which is really hard to do you know . . .)
Boys hair is a big topic for me. I am glad to see that you and your boys are handling it just fine. The Chief might have his hair buzzed until he's 16. Do you think that is uncool? (Because if you do think it's uncool I won't do it). (Impress, impress, impress).
Hey Courtney! Welcome. I'm sorry I didn't tell you about my blog sooner. Of course I'm completely and totally intimidated by you and your clever blogging so having you as a visitor was quite a scary prospect. But I'm ready now. I'm more secure in myself and the purpose of our blog - not necessarily to entertain (although maybe a little of that long the way) but more to chronicle our family happenings.
As for boys hair, I have gone both ways on it. For Brenden, for a long time I was into having it long and he'd ask for a summer buzz and I'd resist. But now that long is overdone and especially after our visit to the D.Q. I'm more into short and might actually be ready for a buzz this summer. No promises but we'll see. Oliver's hair is different since it curls, so having it a little longer is good so you can see the wave. But he hates his curls so much, so when he got excited about the faux hawk I was happy to support it hoping to lessen his disdain for his own hair. So as long as he likes it and wants it I will support it but I'm not doing it for my sake (as in all the little boys at the mall with faux hawks before they can walk). I am confident that over time he will learn to love and embrace his curls.
A used T-shirt away from employment. Very funny. They look smartly cleaned up now. BYU should be proud to have them walking the campus with such do's. Making certain that they will never be employed at Dairy Queen. But isn't it Dairy Queen? Not Diary Queen? Just checking.
You are funny. I think your guys look very handsome. Oliver is so stylin' that they should call his do the O-hawk.
I like their new hair. Brenden looks so sharp. And Oliver's o-hawk is adorable.
