on your mark, get set, GO!

Tonight Brenden and Oliver were racing around the circle in the house. (Sidenote: Scott says kids are naturally attracted to and quickly discover any circle in any house and it quickly and unavoidably turns into a race track.) They would yell "on your mark, get set, GO!" and run and laugh and squeal. June thought it was pretty exciting and tried to get in on the action. She couldn't exactly keep up with them, but made her way around the circle a few times on her own. (The yellow duckie blankie might have slowed her down a bit, but she wasn't giving it up.)

and they're off!

June races through the dining room

she makes her way down the back hall

the final stretch through the kitchen
(notice June in the background pausing for a quick game of Peek-a-boo)

It is rather a fascinating phenomenon kids will always find the loop in any house and turn it into a track. Love June getting in on the action. Boys don't seem to be threatened by little sisters and let them in on the fun.

That is the cutest thing! I love June stopping to play peekaboo. Cute cute family.

I am a firm believer in Scott's theory. This is so cute with June following them around.

I miss June. We should have a cousins exchange program.
